The Short Version
I grew up building things without anyone in the room who'd been there before.
My parents loved me deeply. They showed up, they cheered, they meant every word of it. But they'd never walked this particular road themselves — so when the hardest decisions came, when the doubt was loudest and the stakes were highest, I was leading the show while my family watched from the sideline.
That isolation is quiet. It doesn't look like conflict. It looks like a family that loves you and still isn't quite in the room with you. I've felt it as a kid starting my first projects, and I've watched it play out again and again in the families and organizations I've worked with since. Monarch Ecosystem exists so your family doesn't have to learn that the hard way.
Why I'm the Right Person for This
I've done the actual things I'm asking your family to do.
Not theory. Not a framework I read about. The actual work — building something from nothing, running it, funding it, and sitting on the other side of the table deciding what makes a business ready.

Here's what I actually hope for your family.
I don't think the point of any of this is a successful lemonade stand, or even a successful business. I think the point is that your kid grows up knowing their parent was in the room with them — not managing it, not taking over, just there — while they figured out how to build something real.
I think the parent is the hero of this story, more than the kid is. Not because you have the answers, but because you're willing to be present for the parts where you don't. That pays dividends in your child’s future - whatever they decide that looks like.
